The Fresh Outlook Foundation is hosting the Reel Change Sustainability Film Festival in Kelowna for the entire month on November!

Please join us for the Okanagan Premiere: ‘Revenge of Electric Car’ on Friday March 23, 7-9pm, at the main theatre in the Student Services Building in Okanagan College, KLO Campus, Kelowna.

April 2nd – Penticton Screening of Strange Fruit

Marc Arellano, a Professor of Communications at Okanagan College, is an award-winning poet and filmmaker.  His most recent project, Strange Fruit: A Changing Landscape in the Central Okanagan, is a feature-length documentary that explores family-run orchards and the issues of land, labour and water.

World Community Film Festival

This weekend, check out the World Community Film Festival! Marlo Edwards, the Okanagan College Faculty Association’s Human Rights and International Solidarity Officer, is involved with organizing this excellent event, and the OCFA is a sponsor: with 43 films playing in and around Kelowna this weekend, it’s well worth checking out.
