Teaching Sustainability Community of Practice

by Arnica Rowan

Would you like to connect, and debate ideas with teachers from disciplines across the college? Are you passionate or even mildly interested in incorporating sustainability into your classes and programs?  Do you want to broaden your understanding with deep discussion with experts in their fields? If so, this informal Okanagan College discussion group is for you.

We meet every first Wednesday of the month at 3:30-4:30 in L103 on the Kelowna Campus.  All college employees are welcome! We discuss current research, philosophies, teaching methods, challenges and anything else we think relates to the broadest definition of sustainability.

BYOBeverage. For more information, please contact Ellen Pedersen empedersen@okanagan.bc.ca.

This discussion group is a project of the OC Sustainability Curriculum Team.
