Business course in Ethiopia

by okanagancollegesustainability

For those seeking adventure in Africa, David Northcott’s EDEN 2011 (Entrepreneurship & Development in Emerging Nations) BuAd 339 fits the travel ticket. Students travel to Ethiopia and gain an understanding of the development challenges in third-world countries that have significant portions of their populations living in extreme poverty.

Students work with children and adults in partnership with Canadian Humanitarian, an organization that works with NGO partners in Ethiopia.

The remaining instruction is carried out at the Kelowna campus before and after travelling to Ethiopia. More information can be found at www.okanagan.bc.ca/summer .
