Bike to Okanagan College Kelowna and Get a Free Cupcake

On Wednesday June 13, 2012, bikers will be greeted at the Centre for Learning Aatrium bikeracks with free cupcakes. First year Marketing students are trying to encourage staff and students to “Bike to OC.” All through the week there are prizes for bikers as well!

Summer session Marketing (BUAD 116) students are putting their skills into action with a “Bike to OC” campaign!

The students will be putting up posters and handing out fliers encouraging summer staff and students to bike to the college.

All week  (June 11-15) there will be prizes for people who bike to OC, AND on Wednesday (8-9am!) there will be FREE cupcakes for bikers.

This week of action builds on the previous Bike to Work and Commuter Challenge weeks, to keep the momentum going.

What you can do to help -

#1 – “like” the Bike to OC Facebook page www.facebook.com/biketoOC

#2 – bike to work and post that you’ve done so on the Facebook page (each day!) for a chance to win prizes.

#3 – come get your free cupcake Wednesday morning outside the Atrium near the bikeracks!

#4 – pass this onto all your summer students and your summertime colleagues! Encourage them to bike too!
